Jan Luley has studied jazz piano in Holland and has been performing professionally all across Europe for the last 25 years. Whether it is swing, blues, boogie-woogie, modern jazz or Caribbean rhythms, Jan is a master of diverse styles all with a touch of New Orleans music feeling.
Since many years he works as promoter, artistic director or advisor for numerous festivals and concerts. He also is a committed teacher at blues and jazz workshops all over Europe.
Jan Luley is travelling to New Orleans since 1995 introducing friends, music fans and tourists to this unique capital city of jazz.
